Can we have a legit training session for these new guys? like, we don't need to have scheduled sessions or anything, just have it similiar to an inclan. We get some pr0s together and get all the noobs on to come to a server, and then train. Like, put it 2 pros vs 3 noobs and a pro, and we have the pro ride shotgun in the hog to help with stuff like routes. That way we can have them taught even while they get to play a fun game. and it will be great target practice for the oldies

I think what may be interesting is have a 2v2 where one on each side or nubs play together with a pro at cliff to suggest things to them? Good concept though Hypnos, I think Iced should head this as part of his duties.

This is what i was thinking.... We should create a new rank below ensign rank (adoptee rank)for all of the members who are new to halo and are not very skilled. Then we allow players who are more experienced to adopt one new recruit and become their new scrimming buddy / trainer once the experienced player feel his recruit is decent he can then tell me so i can try him out if the adoptee passes he will be promoted to prime elite or somthing along these lines would be great

I approve of the pairing. IF adoptee is below ensign (perhaps call recruit rank instead, rather than adoptee? lol.), shouldnt they be upgraded to ensign?

How about we make it so that way they are just promoted directly to PE, and dont become ensign at all, UNLESS they are already expeirenced. Because they will have spent the specified time in QS by the time their training is over.

I say beef up the ensign program to instead of being promoted to Prime Elite after 14 days to "whoever does the most shit for QS and shows the qualities of being a legit member and actually wanting to be in QS", then promoted to Prime Elite.
I mean we have some ensigns that have stayed an ensign for a long time for a reason; because they haven't done shit for QS.
I mean the Ensign program should consist of a few requirements to become a full member.
A couple of requirements that I could think of are, well the obvious ones:
-Wears QS tags -Active on forums -Active on Halo -Participates in Inclans ,2v2's etc. -Get to know the Leaders and members of QS -A great Attitude -etc.
And as far as the whole "train the new guys in Ctf" is also important, it has been tried before but no one really kept up with it, so maybe this time it will work.
There are a couple of new guys in QS, Ace and Beast who seem cool and shows they really want to actually be in QS and they have the potential to be a great addition to QS.
So if we recruit more of these guys then we might have many more loyal members.
Also I say we do another Roster clean up and notify the people who haven't done shit for QS, to better start now or else they get the boot.

And once again, the training sessions should be run like inclans. Just whenever people want them, and you are free to come and go as you please.

The scrim buddy/ partner / trainer is a excellent idea. Not only will it help build relationships and respect amongst members of the clan, it will also improve the skills of the new trainee much faster. I'm very impressed with you Iced. Make it happen.

I think we should leave it to regular members to train them, unless you guys absolutely want to. Have all progress relayed to Iced.

I suggest Iced make the pairings based on what he (and the recruit) think needs to be strengthened, and the player that can support that end of their training. For instance, someone who primarily caps (like me and ikillu) may not be the best to handle guys who want D training.

Good point iku, perhaps Iced can make a thread in this section for us (or him) to post names of those in need (and those who desire) training, and what the focus will be. Then we can discuss options for them and who we should ask (if not one of us) to be paired with them.

I read it Mike. The ideas you list are what should already be happening-- If they are not, you are a leader blessed with the powers to make it happen.
As far as the pairing up thing, someone should make a list so you guys can go over it.
