How To Install Devmode and Sight Jacker

There are people out there that don't know how to install and use sight jacker. So I decided to make a step by step manual for the people that aren't so technical with computers.

First off download it.

Unzip the file and you will have 4 files:
trial.devmode+boomfix+console.exe
Trial_Sightjacker.exe
readme.txt
devcommands.txt

Now go to your Halo Trial directory. It should be
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Trial
or something like that depending on your letter drive and etc.

Rename to halo.exe to originalhalo.exe (this is the backup just incase). Cut/copy and paste the 2 files trial.devmode+boomfix+console.exe and Trial_Sightjacker.exe into that folder and rename trial.devmode+boomfix+console.exe
to halo.exe. Make a shortcut to sight jacker and place it on your desktop, that way its easier to run SJer when you think someone is botting. Now go to your shortcut, right click, properties.
Look where it says target and make it say:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Trial\halo.exe" -console -devmode -novideo

-novideo stops that annoying ending animation when you go exit.

Now just run sight jacker, go to a server and press HOME then PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN to change points of view.

Now download the Xetav patch and replace the other halo.exe and your set

THe thing is, this is so outdated, it isn't even funny, but people still don't have it. It saddens me greatly when I go into a pub and say. 'Kick ___' and the host says 'How?'

Yeah, I can't even remember when I downloaded dev/sj (Now, I just can't wait till Halo Reloaded)

Yea, its old but essential. Perhaps if we use CPE for scrims and 1v1s we wont need SJer. Cus it would be funny to see people quit the server and get an exception error when they try to bot/wall.
